1. Precision Demounting & Space Optimization
To maximize cost efficiency and fit oversized wheel loaders into standard 40HQ containers, our technical team executed a meticulous dismantling protocol:
Strategic Component Removal: The front bucket, boom/arm assembly, and wheels were safely detached using professional cranes to meet container dimensional limits.
Component Protection & Marking: All dismounted parts and exposed hydraulic connections were clearly labeled, capped, and shrink-wrapped with waterproof film to safeguard electrical systems and hydraulic lines during transit.
Optimized Layout Planning: Utilizing customized wooden cradles, the chassis, cab, wheels, and attachments were positioned to optimize container weight distribution and space usage.
2. Heavy-Duty Lashing & Container Reinforcement
Preventing movement inside the container during rough ocean passages is crucial for safe delivery:
Multi-Point Steel Cable Fastening: Certified high-tensile steel cables with adjustable turnbuckles anchored the machine's primary frame and heavy components directly to the container's reinforced tie-down rings.
Chock & Timber Blocking: Hardwood blocks were bolted and nailed into the container floor against axles and structural points to completely block longitudinal and lateral shifting.
Corrosion Protection: Vulnerable steel parts and cylinder rods were treated with marine-grade anti-rust grease to resist salt spray and humidity during maritime transport.
3. Successful Arrival at Durban Port & Reassembly
The container arrived smoothly at the Port of Durban.
