  • Destination Port: Port of Manzanillo / Veracruz, Mexico

  • Equipment Type: Heavy Road Roller / Soil Compactor

  • Shipping Method: 40ft High Cube (40HQ) Container (40尺高柜集装箱)

  • Service Scope: Precision Dismantling, Anti-Rust Wax Coating, Container Loading, Heavy-Duty Lashing, Customs Clearance, & Ocean Freight

1. Precision Demounting & Dimensional Optimization

To safely transport heavy road rollers within the enclosed space of standard 40HQ containers, our engineering team performed precise component dismantling:

  • Cab & Drum Removal: The operator cabin, ROPS frame, and heavy steel drums (or rubber wheels) were carefully detached using certified cranes to comply with container height and width constraints.

  • Component Sealing & Marking: All detached components, hydraulic lines, and exposed electrical harnesses were capped, labelled, and sealed with heavy-duty waterproof shrink wrap to prevent contamination.

  • Weight Distribution Planning: Machinery parts were positioned strategically along the container floor to maintain an optimal center of gravity during transit.

2. Ocean-Grade Protection & Heavy-Duty Marine Lashing

Trans-Pacific ocean voyages demand robust corrosion protection and rigorous physical fastening:

  • Anti-Corrosion Shielding: All machined steel surfaces, cylinder rods, and engine components were sprayed with marine-grade anti-rust wax to guard against ocean moisture and salt spray.

  • Steel Wire Fastening: Certified high-tensile steel cables equipped with heavy-duty turnbuckles anchored the roller frame and main components directly to the container's internal tie-down rings.

  • Chock & Timber Blocking: Customized hardwood wedges and steel stoppers were securely anchored to the container floor against the axles and chassis frame to completely eliminate any forward or lateral movement.

3. Successful Arrival at Manzanillo Port

The container arrived safely at the Port of Manzanillo, Mexico, passing customs inspections seamlessly. Using our step-by-step reassembly guide and video instructions, the local Mexican client successfully reassembled the machine on site. The client commended Hegeer Machinery for cost-efficient logistics, secure packaging, and outstanding support.
