1. Strict Pre-Shipment Prep & Australian Biosecurity Compliance
Transporting heavy vehicles to Australia requires meeting stringent biosecurity and safety standards:
Deep Steam Washing: The dump truck underwent multi-angle high-pressure steam cleaning to eliminate soil, seeds, and organic material, ensuring 100% compliance with Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (DAFF) biosecurity standards.
Height & Width Optimization: To fit container dimension limits, the dump bed and wheels/mirrors were strategically evaluated and safely demounted where necessary, then secured alongside the main truck chassis on the flat rack platform.
2. Specialized Heavy-Duty Protection & Anti-Rust Coating
Long-distance ocean transit exposes vehicles to harsh salt spray and humidity:
Anti-Corrosion Shielding: All vulnerable metallic surfaces, hydraulic cylinders, exposed drive shafts, and engine compartments were sprayed with marine-grade anti-rust compound and wrapped in multi-layer waterproof film.
Cabin & Electrical Sealing: The cab interior and all exposed electrical interfaces were completely sealed against moisture and salt ingress during marine transit.
3. Australian Standard Marine Lashing & Rigging
Extreme stability is required to prevent movement during transport across choppy oceanic routes:
High-Tensile Steel Wire Fastening: Heavy-duty steel cables with rated turnbuckles were secured from multiple chassis tie-down points to the container's reinforced anchor points.
Chock & Block Reinforcement: Custom hardwood timber chocks and steel stoppers were bolted in front of and behind each axle/track to completely negate any longitudinal or lateral shifting.
Precise Weight Distribution: The vehicle was balanced dead-center on the Flat Rack base to guarantee smooth crane operations at both loading and discharge ports.
4. Arrival & Client Verification
